One box is 411 grams. Color: Creamy white. Indentation Hardness: 1 at 25C (Brazilian Interpalatine) Drying Time: 5-10 minutes at 72°F, it will vary depending on operating temperature.
【use】
As a demoulding for composite molding of all FRP molds, metal molds and other hard surface molds. Open mold hand lay-up or spray molding.
Transfer/Injection of Resin (Resin Transfer Molding) and (Resin Injection Molding) (RTM) and (RIM) Vacuum bagging and compression molding of polyester and epoxy resins.
【Advantage】
Easy to use and easy to remove. Can stand on it for a while and is easy to polish and wipe. Provides superior high temperature and chemical properties for hard coatings. Can be polished to high gloss without streaking. Reduces build-up of wax and styrene.
Note: Check its suitability during thermal curing molding and high temperature curing molding above 210F (85 °C).
【application】
For new or refurbished molds, our polishing wax GP-300 is recommended before taking the waxing step for additional mold release, gloss and tool life. The surface of the mold is first polished with a wool disc. Can be buffed to a glossy finish after fog drying (approximately 5-10 minutes).
For dry new or refurbished crosspieces, use at least 6 coats of stripping wax after polishing and wiping, and wait 30-60 minutes between wax applications to harden. Good results are obtained if the mold is allowed to sit overnight after the wax is applied, and a final coat of dewaxer is applied before the next day's gel coat. Then apply a first layer of wax on 2-3 dewaxed parts. Then determine how many parts can be efficiently produced before new waxing is required. This will depend on dry molding conditions, structure, resin, cross molding cycle, effective treatment for gel coat generation and other factors.
